MLG has been a mainstay on West Broadway for over 20 years. I remember when I first discovered it walking by and seeing these wild Pop Art pieces by the artist Ronnie Cutrone that combined cartoon characters like Woody Woodpecker and Felix the Cat with consumer products like Cap'n Crunch, Fab, McDonalds and Tang (my first purchase was his book Shelf Life).

The new space looks great and is picture perfect (no pun intended) to showcase the artists works they represent. There are two major walls along with a zig-zag shaped wall running through the middle of the gallery with great lighting throughout to really make the colors on the works pop. They also have a new space downstairs with a cool little lounge area to highlight certain pieces. MLG events always get a great cast of characters attending their events from the arty and quirky to the downright stunningly beautiful. More importantly everyone is always friendly and there to enjoy the art and the company of those who truly appreciate it.
